Okay, I broke down and did it. I'm now a Twit. Or Tweetmeister. Twittliscious?
I don't get on so well with technology, so have been trying to figure this little program out. My first discovery? If I make lame comments to movie stars, people can see that on my page. Whoops. Re: the John Cusack remark about fame - I only half mean that. I don't want fame, just backstage passes.
But I've gone total fangirl and follow actors I've adored for years now. I know they'll probably never speak to me (and probably even have that block thing from fans bombarding them), but I get to do a shrill squeal on occasion like a twelve year old. Or younger. Possibly like a little boy who has been unexpectedly kicked in the nads. Yeah, that's the sound I make. I'm sure this new toy will lose its brilliance in a day or two.
Anyhoo, put a button on the right to click if anyone's interested. I've tried to go through pages and follow y'all but either I'm blind or just ignorant. I can't find the buttons half the time.
I already have a tweetly friend! HI, LISA!

Tweet...Tweet. :)
Yes, I see you DL! This is kind of exciting. And moderately irritating. I hate not having someone show me how to do this.
Twitter grabbed my attention last year, now I'm bored with it.
However, it can be a great source of information. If you follow the right people.
Tweet tweet :)
Your button works :~( why can't mine *wails* Yeah, I found out my button is just not working FOR ANYONE AT ALL and I've linked it up to the right page and everything :~S
Ok, I'm going to follow you now :~) See you in the twitterversical world
Congrats on making the big step! I'm thinking about it, but totally clueless on the whole thing. Maybe someday...
I don't have twitter, but I know what you mean about getting excited with actors and actresses. One of my dreams is to trvale to Hollywood and take a picture of me and a famous actor/actress.
I do not tweet, but love John Cusack! Especially enjoyed High Fidelity.
Christi, I only carry a company cell phone so Twitter is out of the question for me. Luckily. I have such limited free time that Twitter would fritter too much away that I could use writing and editing.
Have you heard of Harley D. Palmer's BODY LANGUAGE BLOGFEST? Imagine trying to do a scene without anyone speaking but still carrying on a conversation {no telepathy or sign language allowed.} Quite a challenge. Why don't you enter? You have the talent to pull it off I know. Here's the link :

Have a great weekend, Roland
Wendy - I probably will use it for EVIL! Mwah haha haha.
Mia - I think your page is cursed.
Susan - It's like a new toy right now, but I only logged in for about ten minutes then went on to other things. It's not as time consuming as I fretted it would be.
Aubrie - Celebrities are fun, but I dream about meeting musicians I admire. Unfortunately, I can't find their Tweetness.
Amy - I grew up with John Cusack. Whenever I see him, I feel young again.
Roland - I don't have a cell phone at all. I just Tweet a bit from the computer at random moments. I've signed up for a couple of blogfests already and am working on my WIP, but thanks for thinking of me!
Bout' time! Kidding ;-)

Yay! Welcome to the wonderful world of Twitter! :)
Welcome to Twitter!! Enjoy it for what it is and have fun :)
Wear off in a day or two? I've been using it for over a year and every month it seems to quadruple in awesome.
Okay, fabulous people, I've added everyone I can find. Nick -where the hell are you?
To misuse a quote from Jeremy Brett: I'm not looking and I don't go hunting. I'm the type who's got to be found
I just can't bring myself to join Twitter. I've thought about it and even had the Join form filled out but I couldn't submit it. Maybe I'm not meant for it right now. Blogger takes up enough of my time! Hehe.
I followed you, as you probably already know, but I gotta warn you: I am not a prolific *tweeter*. I read them fairly often, but haven't really gotten the hang of actually interacting there. Same for Facebook, I guess. I would rather lurk.
We all fold eventually. Next thing you know you'll be signing up for a facebook account.
I just feed my blog through twitter and to facebook. I really have no desire as of yet to figure out all the tricks and tools of social media.
I still really prefer face to face interaction. But I'm doing my best to roll with times.
Hope you have fun with Twitter! I would join if I had the time, but I'm swamped as it is. But if you can manage it, I'm sure you'll enjoy it.
I will never get twitter. NEVA!
And I have way to many other things I waste time on.
Love your vampire bat, Droplet. Have an interesting week, Roland
For the record my twitter isn't hard to find. Just takes an inch of thought. Just an inch.
I started doing the twitter thing. It was easy at first. I was only following five people. Now at 80 (that's the # I'm following, not my age), I can't keep up with them. It was great at first, I'd find out about contests and great blog posts. Now I miss most of that, and I've cut back on how much time I spend on it. Plus I have a hard time following partial segments of conversation.
woo hooooo!! congrats bestie!!
